Third party company ACE puts out its version for Masterpiece Cliffjumper, offering realistic car styling, while maintaining a close-to-animation look for robot mode. This figure is nice esthetically, has decent posability, and sufficiently tight joints out of the box. A fair amount of diecast metal, with a good covering of paint. I didn't see any evidence of sloppy paint or chips on this unit. My biggest concern are some small, thin bits that basically form his frame, so care is necessary when transforming. It is possible, as with any diecast featured product, that paint chipping may occur with time and wear. Overall impression of this toy is good, though it's not a blockbuster hit either. Recommended for someone who feels the need to fill that Cliffjumper "hole" in your MP collection.
